Log in to leave a comment or Create an accountHi Krupa, it's great to hear from people who're in the same boat. This is my first teaching job also! It's amazing and exciting, but scary and unpredictable too... Hopefully we can all meet up and go on mini adventures on our days off. It's not long to go now :D Speak soon, Mark xx
Hey Krupa! I have signed up for the Thailand internship.... I am pretty excited, kinda nervous though to be honest. I feel like I have a lot to do and not much time. How are you coming along with everything?
Hey Krupa:) How are u doing?
As I said I have been teaching for four years. I have experience in teaching adults, ages are 18-50. I have never tried teaching teens and children. U need to teach them differently from adults. I think I am not ready yet to teach children. But I hope that in the future I will try, when I get married and have own children :) I think it would be more interesting when you have your own children, you know how to find a way to communicate, become friends with them. Teaching adults is much more easier than children. They behave:) But, from the other side adults want to understand "why" it works this way. Sometimes it is difficult to explain "why we use definite article here"...children learn without thinking "why"..that makes them learn better than adults...
Feel free to ask any questions.
Zulfiya
Hi sweetie
how are you, yea its a lot of work i worked really hard lol. I have completed the course now I almost missed out a full section tho lol. the video section I was like omg. How far in are u in the course? I thought the grammar bit was the hardest I still go over my notes now.
Talk to you soon xxxx
Hey Krupa:) Thanks that u accepted my request for being a friend:) Nice to meet u!
I have been teaching for four years. It is really hard work, but really enjoying. I spend a lot of time writing my lesson plans, try to have fun classes using different ativities. We teach English in English language and don't let students to use their native language. This way makes them to start speaking in English and it improves their fluency. Currently, I am working in my country, Uzbekistan. I would love to travel abroad and teach there. How about u, Krupa? Have u tried teaching?
Hey,
Um I really don't know what happens if you don't complete the course or even if you have completed it but don't receive the certificates in time, they take a while to get to you I think, but don't quote me on it! Just keep at it I guess. Yeah it is hard with work too, at least if were working then doing the course in our spare time we have less time to waste money and more chance of saving! Do you think we need to save loads or not too much seeing as we will be paid a bit?? So many questions!! Ha! Hope its going ok hun, speak soon xxx
Hey Krupa!
How are you getting on?? Has it sunk in yet!!?? :-) I'm still waiting! How many hours have you done so far, I really need to get stuck in! Anyway hope your well, speak soon x
