Hiya, I have just been looking at the visa application and am extremeley confused. I have the paperwork from AYC but the actual forms we have to fill in I am confused about - help! I am so confused about what to send. Do I fill in that paper work, print off and send - ma being really stupid here!

hey, no sadly I really distracted and am on about question 10 of checkpoint 3. I find it so hard to get motivated.....must crack on today and until we go.

I think I am going to bring my sleeping bag for the first few weeks and see exactly what I need and buy it there.

I have exactly the same flight as you except I leave a day later. I am flying direct with BA.

My list of things to do have more than halved, its awesome.....right, must crack on today.

i will hopefull have checkpoint 3 submitted by the end of the day - fingers crossed.

It is really weird how we seem to have not even been given a basic information pack just telling us what to expect. I emailed this guy and asked some very simple questions like where will I be placed roughly? what is the apartment lie, is it furnished, do I need to bring bedding - if so for a single or double bed....I want to know if there will be a washing machine or something.....we will get a stuido flat with a bed and wardrobe, need to bring double bed sheets etc, towels, laptop, cell phone and teaching materials......

i am going to suggest they do an orientation pack because i feel a little left in the dark.

we will all be put up in a hotel in Bangkok for the first week so I guess it will become clear then.

My flights are booked for the 22nd leaving at 10:35 with BA - WHAT FLIGHTS DID YOU GET>

What are you doing about insurance? I will send my visa off around the 9th then too - getting excited now x

so jealous, I am stuck at checkpoint 3 but aim to get that done today - bet I fail at first attempt!

II have booked my flights so its all very real now. when are you send your visa things to hull?

I havebeen emailing lots of questions to AYC about our accommodation and stuff - cant believe we will all meet in 29 days!

Sorry, just re read your message, flight booked! good for you! what time and date do you arrive? trying to figure out whats best! You can send the visa papersoff by recorded delivery.  Have a look at the thai embassy web page! Its much clearer than the email!

Well I too am swiftly running out of time with the course, just ten days left for me and a couple more modules to go! yikes!

Is TEFL TV the same as the TEFL practise course?

Hey Lauren, how is all the preperations for Thailand going? I still have so much of the online course to do. Still have no idea what to expect. Think it's a bit funny not knowing where we're going to be placed or what age group we'll be teaching! All part of the adventure I suppose. Well just though I'd say Hi. I signed on to this ages ago but only getting in touch with people now. i'll be seeing u in Bangkok in no time!! x

You sound like youre in the same boat as me! Ive always wanted to travel but never really knew where to start, but I picked Thailand because its one place ive always really wanted to go and the October internship sounded like a great way to get going! How about you?
