Hey Lucy, sorry for the late reply...mega busy! I went to Vietnam in 2009, its great out there! did cambodia, Thailand and Laos too which are also great and right near Vietnam so we'll be in a perfect spot for travelling! any qustions throw em my way :) just starting the course today...how is yours going?

How's the course going? I'm onto the extra grammar module now. It's not actually as bad as I thought it would be! I'd say up all night and complete it if I didn't have to be at work in the morning! 

Making my way through the end exam type thing for the first of the 4 little extra modules (the one-to-one teaching one). Don't worry about the grammar modules though, the first one is the tough one! The 3rd and 4th will only take you an hour or two if you down a few expressos ;) Infact, the last module for that was a bit of an insult! The quiz was asking questions like "What word rhymes with 'cold'" and you had to choose from a drop down list of about 10 words haha! I think we did that in year 2 at primary school...

Mine's worked out really well, only 2 hours in Dubai airport! Barely time to get off one plane and onto t'other :o) Leaves home late thursday night and gets into Saigon about 7.30pm, thought that wasn't bad.

havent got a clue tbh, done the flight before and its not too bad!! Got a night between Thai and Vietnam so thats not too bad!! Im travelling for the month vefore so ill be there probs a few days before so if you need someone to meet I'll be around :)

Yeah I booked my flight. Only got a single, cause I'm planning on staying as long as I can out there, might be given the opportunity to continue teaching for another term if I prove myself, and if not, there's always private teaching :)
Started on the vaccinations too, but damn there're a lot of them to get through!
Where're you at with the TEFL course now?

i completed my application last week. it doesnt take that long. need to get my flights and stuff sorted tho.

3 flights maybe, but sounds much more fun than hours sat in Dubai airport!!  Should imagine there's not much excitement to be had there ;0)  Decided on when you're flying yet and where you going from?  Finished your application yet?!?!

I am doing: Large classes, one-to-one, young learners and limited resources, as well as grammar awareness and a 20 hour video practice. I mayyyy have to get an extension, though, as I just started a new job a week earlier than I thought! I literally now have no spare time! So Vietnamese is on hold for now, haha. 

If you want any help on anything I've done already, drop me a line =) I can't say I'm amazing, but I've at least done it before. 

I got an email from Lyn, and we're setting up my Skype interview thing soon. Exciting to get the ball rolling, so to speak.
