I'm really sorry, but our partners in China are not able to confirm even the region of where you might be teaching before you go - no matter where you are though you need to think that you'll be going right from high summer (in August) to deep winter, so you'll need to bring a good mix of clothes wherever you're based.

If you are nervous about finding clothes to fit in China I would take basic clothes that you can layer up or down, such as plain trousers, t-shirts, jumpers, dresses etc. There's quite a handy article here which might help you: http://www.tefl-chalkboard.com/honor/posts/221-what-not-to-wear-while-teaching-in-china

Thanks for your message - you find out exactly which school/area you'll be placed in during your orientation week in Beijing - the reason for this is that schools in China have a habit of changing their minds at the last minute - so to avoid chopping and changing everyone's placements, our partners in China just let everyone know where they'll be based once they're in China.
