Hi, I'm Natalie, a student of drama and english at Kent University. I have decided I want to get out of England and teach in Europe after I graduate next year! I have a few countries in mind, but choosing which one is proving a bit tricky, i shall have to do a lot more research I think! I can't wait to get started as I'm sure that above all it'll be a fantastic adventure, and who doesn't love one of those?

Prior to starting this contract a mere six weeks ago, I had never been to Poland, but I would definitely recommend it as a TEFL destination. Yet on the majority of TEFL forums, Poland gets absolutely slated. I honestly have no idea why as the Poland I'm living in a beautiful country with lots to see and do. The people are friendly and helpful, and the cost of living's low (I'm putting together a rough guide to prices at the moment and will add it to the Poland group when I'm done). Of course the icing on the cake is that the students are well-behaved, fun, engaging and easy to motivate, in other words, a newbie's dream!
The demand for EFL teachers is pretty high, so there are jobs available all over the country. In the big cities, such as Warsaw and Krakow, supply currently far outstrips demand, but if you go a bit further outside these places, you'll have no problems finding work (I'm about 2.5hrs by bus south of Krakow).
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask - I'm on here pretty much every day.
