Where do you want to work?

You may just be looking at the wrong time of year, e.g., in Europe schools tend to hire in time for a September/October start. There are usually some vacancies after Xmas (to replace the teachers who go home and don't return), but after that you would probably have to wait till March/April to apply for a summer job.

In Asia, the school terms/years run differently. Get someone teaching out there to confirm rough dates for you. Last year I started a summer job in Vietnam at the end of May. This finished in early August when the students went back to state school.

Not having experience or a degree makes looking for work a challenge, but it's not impossible. You just need to be more proactive. As Kevint pointed out, you also need to ensure that your CV/application is spellchecked! If you tell us where you would like to work, and what jobsites you have been using to find said work, we may be able to help further.

Maybe using a spellchecker would give greater confidence in prospective employers, just a thought!!

Seriously, get your CV onto as many agencies as possible, Google is your friend.
