There are lots of others like 4rentargentina but again I can only find whole apartments which are expensive. If that's what you're looking for let me know cos I know quite a few.
Don't worry you're not the only nervous one! I am excited though, but just a little worried that in January there won't be much jobs around. Good luck!!
Heya, yeah I was thinking the same thing about just staying in a hostel first. I guess I was a little daunted at the prospect of turning up and finding no job! I'm not too sure how to go about looking for work, like you say it's best to find that when you're out there. Have you come across any schools that would be a good place to start?
I think this is the best flat share site I've found: compartodepto.com. There are a lot of good flats for around 500 pesos a month. All the websites advertised on TEFL sites etc seem to rent our whole apartments, and are therefore much more expensive.
Cheers,
Lianna
Hi Nick,
I came across your post about going to Argentina in Feb. Hopefully I'll be in BA by January as a TEFL teacher too. I just thought I'd ask if you had any luck finding accommodation or were planning on finding it while you're out there? i-to-i says it costs around 500 pesos a month for a room in a shared house, but so far all the websites I've come across are much more expensive than that.
Cheers,
Lianna
