One i-to-i Chalkboard user has shown there is no need to sit around doing nothing while waiting for a TEFL internship to start.
In his blog, LeonPritchard described the six-week adventure he is planning to go on before taking up his placement in China, which will see him travel from Budapest in Hungary all the way to Beijing.
During his travels, he will take in the world renowned Exit Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia and experience the many sights and sounds of Russia and Mongolia as he makes the trip to his eventual destination on the famous Trans-Siberian railway.
The plan effectively kills two birds with one stone, solving the issue of how he is to get to China and fitting in with his desire to do some travelling.
Those looking for a quicker journey to Beijing can fly directly to the capital from the UK in about 11 hours.
