The Australian island of Tasmania has a lot to offer visitors and those who choose to settle there, it has been observed.
Matt Hingerty, managing director of the Australian Tourism Export Council, noted that the area continues to attract holidaymakers despite the current economic climate.
And anyone looking for somewhere to begin a career teaching English overseas may like to consider it, as the expert explained that it boasts a number of exciting features.
"With its magnificent food and wine, great service and interesting colonial history, Tasmania is a unique destination," said Mr Hingerty.
A growing number of people may be considering teaching English abroad following the advice of Charlie Ball, deputy research director at Graduate Prospects.
He told the Guardian that such a move can help graduates with the transition from university to the world of work, with the skills acquired likely to be valued by future employers.
