UK businesses are planning on recruiting more staff in the coming months, however, the jobs market will remain tough for some time, which could encourage people to consider a career teaching English abroad.
According to Lisette Howlett, managing director and founder of HireScores.com, many firms and workers are more positive about the economic climate and will look to take advantage of it by drafting in new staff.
However, while some companies will end their recruitment freeze, the market will remain very tough and competitive, although this could be avoided by looking for TEFL jobs abroad.
Ms Howlett said: "It is likely that employers will be quite selective with who they hire which will [mean] competition for jobs [will] remain tough."
According to a recent post on Justmeans, teaching English overseas is one of the best career options open to graduates at the moment, with the current jobs climate making it extremely difficult to find employment in other areas.
