The range and efficiency of transport on offer to people teaching English in China means that getting around the country during their down time is easy, according to one travel source.
John Warner, managing director of Gap Adventures, claimed that the country has a good bus network which can connect people to most regions and may be especially suitable for those who want to get off the beaten track.
He pointed out that there is always the option to jump in a rickshaw for an "ultimate China experience".
Travellers heading out to teach English in China will no doubt want to see as much of the country as they can, so it will come as a relief that they can get around without any problems.
Mr Warner explained: "The public transport system is ideal for those visitors who may want to undertake a more independent trip in the country."
Tourism in China appears to be on the up, with the nation’s National Tourism Administration revealing that it received 125 million visitors from February 13th to 19th, a 14.8 per cent year-on-year increase.
