Taking a TEFL course could be just the ticket for people wanting to see the world while still improving their CV while they are away, according to teach abroad specialists i-to-i.
Honor Baldry, a spokesperson for the company, noted that a TEFL qualification allows people to practise and demonstrate a variety of talents, such as leadership and communication.
She pointed out that bridging language barriers and traversing cultural differences is not easy and will be respected by companies when they look at a person’s CV.
And all the while that people are overseas developing their ability to teach, they will have the chance to explore exotic destinations.
"TEFL is not only a fantastic way to see the world, but teaching abroad also gives you a chance to build on the skills employers want to see," explained Ms Baldry.
Anyone interested in taking a TEFL course should head down to LSE Bankside House on March 20th to speak to the i-to-i team.
