Meaningful travel company i-to-i is giving people the chance to teach English in Ecuador.
The new TEFL placements are located in Loja and Machala, offering teachers the chance to combine classroom work with travel opportunities around the diverse country.
Earning up to $400 (£245) a month, those who sign up for the projects should be able to save enough to explore Ecuador’s stunning pacific coastline, tropical rainforests and central mountains. The Galapagos Islands are also nearby.
According to the organisation: "The teaching positions will give new TEFL teachers the opportunity to practice their TEFL skills in a warm and welcoming environment.
"Demand for English teachers is high and a good TEFL qualification will stand teachers in good stead to get a good position."
Meanwhile, Lonely Planet advises that the best time to visit Ecuador is outside of tourist high season, which coincides with European, North American and Ecuadorian holiday periods and sees accommodation rates at their highest.
