The event is held every year in San Fremlin and has become "popular with the young party crowd", suggests Tom Hall, travel editor of Lonely Planet.
He said: "It’s very popular, accommodation is almost impossible to come by and transport gets very stretched during the time that you’re there so it’s worth planning on camping or travelling in for the day."
On July 6th, the festival officially starts with an announcement from the mayor and a rocket is launched.
The event, which hails back to the 13th century, is attended by people from across the globe and some even take part.
Every day, the Bull Run starts at 8am and six fighting bulls run the 825 metre route from the corral at Santo Domingo to the bull ring.
Humans can run alongside the bulls and two herds of bullocks, which are also released.
Spectators can watch from a safe distance from behind security fences or sit in a bar to see the live broadcast of the run on national TV.
