Those teaching English in Colombia can lose themselves in the biggest rock festival in Latin America.
Taking place in Bogota from July 3rd to the 5th, Rock al Parque sees some of the biggest names in rock come to the capital and sing a string of hits.
As well as a host of international artists, those teaching English in Colombia can hear the sounds of some of the country’s own rockers, including Alto Grado Colombia, Alfonso Espriella and Citoyens.
There will be stars from across the Americas taking to the stage, with Los Cafres, Fto Paez and Arbol all coming from Argentina, while Mexico will be represented by Ely Guerra, Instituto Mexicano del Sonido and Kinky.
Those teaching English in Medellin can explore another Colombian passion flowers.
Each year, locals flock to the streets to celebrate Feria de las Flores (Flower Festival), with processions and exhibitions held across the city, cowboys on horseback and rural dwellers both young and old parading through the streets with various floral arrangements.
