Receiving words or actions of praise from students is one of the most satisfying parts of taking TEFL courses and choosing to teach abroad, according to one source.
When Robertclarke announced on his Facebook status that he had a certain amount of days left until he was set to leave his TEFL job in Indonesia, he was surprised to see a few of his pupils commenting that they did not want him to leave.
Writing in his i-to-i Chalkboard blog, he said that this sort of experience really makes him feel good about his decision to teach abroad.
"That is one of the greatest things about teaching; having students tell you in different ways how much they like you," remarked Robertclarke.
