Brits flying from Stansted Airport can now make use of its free iPhone app following its release today (November 30th).
The app provides the latest flight information and a public transport journey planner to the fingertips of travellers, some of whom may be moving abroad to teach English.
Other useful features of the app include shop and restaurant information with downloadable vouchers and special offers, car park booking and security requirements such as what can and cannot be taken onto a plane.
Steve Mills, Stansted Airport's iPhone app development manager, said: "The app is regarded as one of the most feature-rich airport apps available, which will not only make it easier for passengers using the airport, but improve the passenger experience for our travellers too."
It can be useful for frequent flyers and for those catching a plane for the first time, he added.
Those people who are flying in order to teach English abroad may like to download the app so that can be kept up-to-date with their departure time.
Total Media recently revealed that using a mobile to research or to book a holiday is becoming more popular, especially among young people.
