Those who have taken a TEFL course and want to teach English in Asia may like to move to Singapore to do so.
That is because the country topped the list for being the least corrupt country in the world alongside New Zealand and Denmark.
It was given this ranking in the Transparency International's 2010 Corruptions Perception Index 2010, which was released on October 26th.
The company analyses 178 countries and bases the rankings on the perceptions of corruption among politicians and public officials as assessed by international experts and institutions.
Singapore achieved 9.3 where zero is perceived to be highly corrupt and ten indicates low levels of corruption.
Therefore, people with a TEFL certificate may like to teach English in Singapore as it is seen as not being corrupt.
Singapore is an island country off the tip of the Malay Peninsula and has a diverse population made up of Chinese, Indians and Asians.
At least 42 per cent of the population are foreigners who live and work there.
