Expensive items such as iPads and iPhones should be protected by travel or personal possession insurance before someone moves abroad to teach English.

The firm revealed on July 26th that only 77 per cent of UK travellers have insurance, which means they could be faced with a hefty bill if they need to replace their items due to theft or breakages.
Amanda Edwards from AXA Home Insurance, said: “Our lifestyles are changing and we are carrying more and more high value, electronic items with us when we leave our homes – not just when we go on holiday.”
According to a report by the Foreign Office, most of the problems faced by Brits abroad could be prevented if they had adequate insurance.
