Irish graduates will be able to find out more about TEFL courses at a careers fair, which is being held on February 3rd.
It is being hosted by the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT) in its Castlebar campus as a way for Irish graduates to find out more about the options open to them.
More than 30 firms are set to make an appearance at the fair, including Lionbridge Technologies and i-to-i TEFL, reports the Mayo Advertiser.
As a result, youngsters who wish to move abroad and find work overseas can find out more about TEFL courses as these can help people teach English abroad.
Michelle Kerins O'Brien, a careers counsellor at the Institute, told the news provider: "Please bring along a few copies of your CV and use this opportunity to talk to employers and heads of professional bodies about current career options, trends, and get advice on how to progress your studies and/or careers."
Demand for TEFL courses has recently increased in Ireland as graduates and the unemployed are trying to find ways to live abroad, according to Cork Student News.
