People teaching English in South Korea could find out what it is like to have a snail in the bed or a cat in the bathroom by attending an art fair.
The Asia Top Gallery Art Fair allows visitors to do this when it takes place from August 27th to 29th at the Shilla hotel in Seoul, reports the Independent.
Shilla Hotel will be transformed into an avant-garde art gallery and it is hoped that it will change the way that fans and buyers view art.
People teaching English in South Korea will be able to discover this new cultural trend for themselves and see sculptures of snails in beds and installations of cats or deer in the bathrooms.
The event organiser told the newspaper: “Compared to the general art fair exhibition at the White Cube, this exhibition will utilise hotel rooms by offering paintings on beds and sculptures in bathtubs.”
They added that this new display concept will enable potential buyers to see what a painting would look like in their own homes.
Seoul is the capital of South Korea and has a population of over 12 million people. It is considered to be a global city and is one of the world’s top ten financial and commercial centres.
