EFL teacher ‘has no regrets about career choice’

Posted 24 May 2010

An EFL teacher has revealed she is glad that she ignored the scepticism of her friends and family and decided to follow her dream to teach English in Korea.

Lintse07, writing on the i-to-i Chalkboard, stated that she flitted with different ideas with regards to her career before deciding to do a TEFL course.

She stated that she went to South Korea with an open mind and that she has been pleasantly surprised with the way of life she has encountered and all the things she has learnt.

"At this point, I have no regrets. I’m so glad I never caved into anyone else’s doubts about the validity of my plans throughout the course of my educational and career adventures to date," lintse07 wrote.

Those on the lookout for TEFL jobs may do well to look for vacancies in South Korea, as there is a high demand for native English speakers, according to the Just Another Indian in Korea blog.
