A competition to design the best game for teenagers was launched in Vietnam yesterday (November 29th).
It has been created to encourage junior school students to be more creative and to think outside the box, reports SaigonGP-daily.
The department of education is running the competition and the youngsters can win a prize of up to VND 400 million (£13.2 million).
Those who have chosen to teach English in Vietnam may like to encourage their students to create a game to improve their language skills.
Teenagers are asked to design their game on a piece of paper and the best ones will be played in 74 schools in order to find the winning entry.
As well as receiving the prize money, the winner will be able to see their game being made a reality and played by youngsters across the country.
TEFLers teaching English in Vietnam may also see the winning game being played during breaks at the school at which they work.
Vietnam will start teaching all third grade students English from the start of the academic school year 2011/12.
