Those planning to relocate overseas may be able to find a better quality of life than that which is available in the UK, it has been observed.
Shelter Offshore noted that the current economic climate is prompting people to pursue careers in other countries, which could include teaching English abroad.
The portal advised anyone doing so to consider their financial options carefully, particularly as interest rates are so low in the UK.
Earning money in a foreign currency and saving in sterling is unlikely to be advantageous, it explained, as better terms can be found elsewhere.
"Make sure you do explore your options," consumers were urged, "Otherwise you won’t necessarily be doing the best for your wealth whilst you are living abroad."
HiFX Foreign Exchange recently noted that British expats and those teaching English abroad could be benefiting from improved finances, as the pound rose against both the euro and the dollar last week.
