I have to go pick up my visa tomorrow and then there's just the matter of insurance and packing, and I'll be ready to go! It's hard knowing what to pack when you don't even know where your going to end up. I'm a teacher already so that should come easy to me but I still get nervous when it's a new class. The first time when anyone teaches it'll be scary as hell but you get used to it and it becomes second nature.

I'm pretty excited now but I'll probably be a nervous wreck on the plane! At least I now know that there'll be one other person on the same flight as me, which is quite reassuring for once we land in Beijing and have no idea where to go or what to do. How are you feeling? Have you got everything sorted out now?

Waiting on my visa as well. Fingers crossed it comes in time :) Yeah I have to do the weekend course in Beijing because all the other courses offered were too far away from where I live. I can't wait to meet everyone and just get to China! See you soon

Ahhh sorry it's taken so long to get back to you, I've been quite overwhelmed with work and haven't even thought about China until yesterday when my invitation letter finally came! I can't believe we are going to be there in less than a month! Geesh! So when are you arriving in China? Have you already finished your weekend course or are you doing it once you arrive? Ah I'm so excited I can't wait!

No proper plans for my early arrival yet, it just happened it was cheaper to get there early. Think theres a few others getting there early aswell so might be good to meet up with them and see some of Beijing before the monday morning madness.

Hi. I booked my flights yesterday, I had to get a flight via Amsterdam to get the cheapest deal and then I arrive on Saturday 21st and should hopefully be staying at a hostel Saturday and Sunday nights while trying to get my bearings in Beijing. When do you fly?

I've heard there's a way of getting round Facebook being banned http://facebook.topchina.info/facebook/how-to-access-facebook-in-china/ worth having a look at. Have you booked your flights yet? I havent got a clue when to book them for or which airport  we fly to cos there's 3 airports in Beijing.
