TEFLERS IN ITALY

Hello fellow Teflers,

I am thinking of taking my TEFL to Italy within the next couple of years, however am very nervous that I do not hold a university degree in anything.

I was wondering if there are any of you already or have been and finished in Italy that found work regardless of not having a degree?

Kind regards,

Nat.

Hi Nat,

I have just stumbled upon your blog post and just wondered whether you had seen our Jobs Board?

We have a couple of jobs in Italy up there at the moment that you might be interested in!

Hello AlaviN,
Thankyou very much for your response, may I just ask how you actually found the job (did you have Italian connections/ or did you just turn up) I don't know any Italians in Italy, but have such a big dream of living and taching there!!
I have work experience from teaching in Greece so that's no a proplem.
I have no idea where in Italy I would like to move to, can you suggest anywhere nice? xx

Hi Nat

I've been teaching in Italy for a year now. I don't have a degree and found that most private language schools only require a TEFL certificate. Most schools do ask for experience so I suggest you do some kind of work experience in your country. What part of Italy are you thinking to move to?
