where to start . . . so ive been wanting to teach abroad since i was 16. I'm now 18 (19 in July) and finally got myself sorted. it all started in July 2009 when i went to Faliraki on holiday with a few friends. I had a good time, got home and went back to work. I then realised I had the next week off, so with the money I had saved up I decided i deserved a holiday. so i booked another holiday to Faliraki, same hotel etc . . . only this time i was going alone. This was something i never thought i would do (go alone) but im a random person and thought it would be a laugh. I thought i would be laying on a beach all day and hadn't a clue what i would do at night seeing as i was alone. I got there and unpacked etc . . the hotel staff who were from Slovakia & Czech republic remembered me from before and asked me to go out with them that night. Before i knew it i was out every night with them and during the day chatting about random things with them at the hotel. At the end of my week i promised i would go visit them in Prague. I always thought of Czech republic as one of those random boring little European countries. anyway i got there in the end, had a great time, loved the city, and ended up going back there a few more times. Then i realised finally this was my ticket out of my boring life in England which consists of work work work. I was already doing a TEFL online course but wanted some hands on training. so i did a bit of research and found a course based in the centre of Prague that helped you get a job after the course with a good wage. BINGO!!! so i signed up and sorted out a few things, now all i am doing is waiting for my move in august and saving up some money. i never thought i would end up in Prague, but thanks to my random trip to Greece on my own i am happily out of here =] =]
That is pretty much the basics of it.
