Hi Mullins, I would suggest not necessarily doing revision for a warmer, if you look back at the other example of lead ins/warmers in their lesson plan outlines they like to see you suggest perhaps something fun, a game, a short song relevant etc, even asking them about teir weekend plans which can be incorporated into the lesson plan later, does that make sense, ?
I think you should go back to the three plans outlined in the actual module for ideas !!
Just answer it to the best of your knowledge, and if they ask you to resubmit then just follow their advice in the feedback. Checkpoint 5 was the only one I had to resubmit with so don't worry, it's pretty tough to get it first time!
Hi thanks for all the help thats great. I kind of skipped ahead as was struggling with question 8, i chose hobbies but finding it confusing, for the warmer i said i would revised the adverbs of frequency with the students and write them on the board for later on in the lesson. Do you have any suggestion of what i could do for the lead in part?
Only have 8 days left to complete all this, and working full time 5 days a week isnt really helping it ha! thanks for the help so far
Hi Im Tina, and just last week passed with flying colours all of my 150 hr course. In answer to your question, and because they stipulate that you cannont use any of their suggested "games" do what I do and bring yourslf back to your own childhood games used in perhaps Primary school !!!!! Simple ones that taught specific vocabulary, or grammar, etc, and then appy the relevant questions. Do what I always tried to do and put yourself in their (students) eyes and a game that may appear of no real interest or of a learning style lesson is for foreign students. I hope this is of help, and that you get through if this is your final checkpoint.
I am just taking a breather, and seeing what My next move will be.
