Hi I am Marshan
I was orignally going on the Oct 2010 Thai internship but got offered a great position in NYC so I am deferring until April 2011 (hopefully). This way I have more time to prepare and stash so more cash so I can travel a bit afterwards. I am excited to stay in contact with those if you I have met going in Oct. Can't wait to hear all about it!!!

Hi Marshan,
No, I haven't contacted Masako since the last time. I presume if they aren't supplied they will be cheap to buy in thailand. I'm going to email her again though to ask about the types of material and books etc which are provided and the type of examinations that will be taken.
I wish they would give us alot more infomation though.
Have you heard anything further? And are you buying the $140 6 months lesson plan package?

I am in the same boat. I sent the paperwork for my Visa and once I get accepted I will then book my flight.
Oh thats a tricky one! Goodluck with making that decision! I think you should come to Thailand, it's always best to stick to your original plans-it usually works out best I think!! Anyway goodluck!! :) I think Karyn said she knew someone who did it before :)

Aw deadly! I really don't know yet, think I'll just play it by ear. Wanna travel round for a bit afterwards anyway and if I like it I might try and stay on and work for another couple of months somewhere else in Thailand or Malasia or something, who knows!!
Any tips on packing essentials? Or can we get most things over there?
