Hello, Friends! I am changing in a big way, and ready to teach overseas. Our family may follow when I find a suitable location. My bachelor's is in elementary education, but I've found work mostly in middle school grades. Unfortunately, budget cuts twice have swiped my positions away, and I have been a substitute teacher at all grade levels. My heart lies with the young ones, but good paying jobs are hard to find in Oregon.
Our family is interested in Spanish-speaking countries for travel, but that is no limitation. We have enjoyed exchange students from China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Spain. Now it is our turn to travel. Tell me, who has success bringing a family? Which countries reimburse air fare? Which include medical insurance, housing or tuition for dependents? Where should we absolutely not attempt? Which countries accept English teachers over 60 years of age?? Thank you for all of your advice. Sherry Palomo
