I am a TEFL teacher at a small school in Brazil with a Bachelor of Design degree from New Zealand (an example of my work is shown in my profile photo!). I have a qualification for the 140hour TEFL course and have taken that step to go on an adventure overseas! My other interests are comics, travel and languages.
As well as being a native English speaker, I can speak fluent Japanese, and I am learning Brazilian Portuguese.
I am currently living in the Espírito Santo state in Brazil with my partner and have been here since January 2012!

Log in to leave a comment or Create an accountHey man quick question for you, are you teaching on a tourist visa? I am very interested in teaching in Brazil myself but kinda hit a wall when looking at the visa options :P
Hope all is well!
That's a pretty decent list of language skills under your belt already! Your knowledge of learning another language will come in really handy when you start TEFLing as you know what it's like being the tutee rather than the tutor..... and hopefully you'll get to tick off all the destinations on your list.
