Hey when do you arrive in Jakarta? Ive been working in Cengkareng since February. Im sure you love it, most people do :)
Congratulations on the job offer in Jakata (I just read about it on another post) Not sure where you are from - or which person you are in the photo!!- but I'm certain you will have a great time. I've travelled extensively in SE Asia and just LOVE every place I've been. I think it is a cultural thing but everyone you meet seems to be friendly.
I am going to China in August to teach. It will be my first trip there so am hoping it is as friendly as other places I've been. Mind you I'm not really sure how I'll cope with the big cities - coming from Australia we just dont have them!! Best of luck.
