Hi Melinda, I have just roared through Mods 9 10 11 and 12 and completed Checkpoint 4 just 2 days back - got really good comments too and have managed 20/20 out of all my quizzes within two tries. SO I think I may be able to help you. 

OTOH I am doing the 140hr course and have yet to start the Grammar course,(!) though I'm fairly OK with the basics, tenses are still causing me some grief.  I have only 3-4 days to go and am on the verge of buying another 30 days, though I'm pretty confident I can get through Checkpoint 5 today. Am about to begin.

HOW long did it take you to do the Grammar Course and what is the nature of the Assessments for it - quizzes or full written tutor-marked assignments?

Would love to work on this together asi've been working alone for a long time now and can see that shared insights is the way to make these tasks more enjoyable. 

I will open up my Checkpoint 4 work to see if I can help you. I'll be here for another 7 hours at least.

Will also follow up the Discussion I see above on Chekpnt 5 qn 8 as it may help me go a little quicker.

Hi, I've noticed you're on checkpoint 4 and i DESPERATELY need help with #3 (on my last time), I have no idea what to put for 17 and 22.. how to explin what a lake is (my definitions were too 'difficult'), and how would I teach the word "tiny" (apparently tiny does not mean small)

Hi has any one got any tips on how to start checkpoint 4? I dont have much time left to finish my course. I've spent 20 hours over the weekend doing my Grammar course which i have finished :-).

Yeah.. kinda bouncing around.  Trying to make it all worth it. Though every minute with him is worth it. :) *gush* However, I had an International House location email last night.  They are in another city in Ukraine.  So, MAYBE!  I'd love IH.  Good company, maybe transfer to Serbia's location afterward, and looks good on CV no matter what.  But we'll see what happens. :))

I get back on July 31st from Sokobanja...leaving out at 8am via bus.  X_x  SOO EARLY!  Oh well, I'll nap on the bus :))  I'll be online though throughout the trip so if you need help don't hesitate.

CONGRATS!!!  I told you you could do it!!   You'll do fine with checkpoint 4 and if you need help, let me know. 

Aren't you headed to France soon?  I leave for Sokobanja on Saturday. It's a spa town with spas, hiking, great food, ruins of a medieval town, and so many other great things.  Spending like 8-9 days there to get out of the city a bit and recharge before heading to Ukraine.  Having to leave about a week earlier than thought originally.  :((  The DOS asked me to be there by the 19th instead of 25th.  Means I have to leave Nemanja sooner.  I hope I can do this...  TEFL courses don't prepare you for this part of it all.

Hey! I've been doing it slowly since February, just chipping away at it bit by bit. Checkpoint 3 was definitely the worst tho - it's all downhill once you crack that one :) let me know if I can help! C

Serbia is amazing!  Words cannot describe. Food is to die for, people are wondrously kind and helpful, and the scenary is just breathtaking. Definitely worth the trip!!

16 days!?!!?  AWESOME!  Can't wait to hear about your adventures there! 

Still haven't been to a club yet since I've been here, but since Nemanja is almost done with exams it'll happen soon. :))  Can't wait either! :D  Ready to dance my ass off.
