Generally you should hear back within a few weeks of sending your documents off - however I know the team in China have been flat out getting this round of interns all set up, so don't panic if it's a little longer!

Hi Mel, I am off to China in August as well. Not doing the i-to-i internship as I've been offered a position with another group. However I've made some great contacts on Chalkboard and plan on keeping in contact as who knows where any of us might end up in China. We can all support each other and looking at some of the March blogs initially we will need all supports available. Cheers, Kate.

Cool! I can't wait to go, it looks amazing :) I think we're going somewhere near Mount Fuji. I haven't arranged flights yet so I'm not sure yet. I'm in my last year of High School (same as college I think) and next year will be my gap year. Have you sent your application away yet? I still need to get the character reference completed and some 'passport-sized' photos... and the preferred place in China - I'm not sure where I want to go yet. Where do you want to go?

hey there thats great that your coming to china!!! what part did you choose to stay.....i chose shanghai area, dont ask me why its just the most exciting place to me lol. have you actually been accepted yet or have you just sent off your application etc.

The 20hr course was really good but it was quite a lot to pack into 1 weekend. How far through are you in the 100hr? I am going to Japan first and flying from there to China a week early.

I am planning on going in August too. Are you teaching English just now and have you done the TEFL course? I have just done the 20hr weekend course and have just started the 100hr online course. I am from Scotland.. near Edinburgh. Look forward to meeting you too!
