Hey Mandy,

Egypt is a tough one for working in.  The biggest teaching center in Egypt is The British Council, but they require at least 2 years experience (where I worked). I don't know how good they are - but try www.berlitz.com and  www.amideast.org.  Wages in Egypt are low, but the cost of living is relatively low too.  I'm not sure about jobs in Jordan, but check out http://www.eslcafe.com/ one of the best websites for TEFL and also www.tefl.com (but jobs on here tend to be for teachers with experience).  Let me know if you have any more questions.  I really liked Egypt, but it can be difficult at times!

Awesome - often it's best just to go for it!

Middle East sounds good - you might want to chat to Emma, who taught in Egypt to get her advice: http://www.tefl-chalkboard.com/emmafoers. Get in touch with these guys too who are teaching in South America:

Good luck with it all and keep us posted

Hi Honor,

I'm hoping to head over to the the Middle East or Sth America, however starting the course was exciting enough been dreaming of doing this for a while now and have decided to just do it!

Hey Mandy,

Congratulations on starting your course - where are you hoping to head once you've finished it?

Good luck with it all and if you get stuck at all give Emma a shout - she's one of our online course tutors and is something of a TEFL expert: http://www.tefl-chalkboard.com/emmafoers
