I think I’m going to need extra time to complete the ‘elective courses’. It’s a bit of a bitter pill but with my intense high-pressure job and my current location it’s just not possible to study during the week.
Note – grammar awareness. The plural of cactus is cacti. It is also cactuses and cactus. You cannot mark me as incorrect if I chose cacti. Further, town house is a compound noun in Australia. I should know – I lived in one for four years.
I’ve discovered I’m terrible at gerunds – I don’t get them. I even used the ‘something’ trick! It didn’t work out so well… I’m also terrible at prepositions. However Wikipedia had a great list of them online which really helped with the final ‘review’. Which was a killer, but now at least Module 1 of the Grammar Awareness course is done. It will definitely take a few more weekends just to get through the rest.
I can’t wait until I’m on holidays so I can study full time.
