I Ezekiel Majola as a Christian l believe that Christ was the best teacher; He left a tremendous impact through His teaching. Therefore, I imitate Him to make an impact in the lives of the learners, for them to have an impact in the society. I love English. Since I was a teenager, I realized how much I liked this language and I had the opportunity to teach some students near my home, I got engaged with this subject. I hope if l manage to go teach Asia (South Korea, Japan Thailand) it’s more that a job for me it one of my teenage hood dreams to empower others in the society. I am service oriented and believe that education embodies the value of investing in the possibilities of children. This forum also allows one to nurture, role model, and practice compensatory teaching. Teaching is a dream job where in each day brings new experiences and knowledge for both teacher and students. It is a sacred job and it allows one to give back to the world and communities. It also allows one to inspire, motivate and lead children and young people each day. Above all, it is an opportunity to model love, compromise and compassion to a large group of the building blocks of our future each day.
I can say my educational philosophy is Christ centred; I believe that a teacher is morally obligated to enter the classroom with only the highest of expectations for each and every one of her students. Thus, the teacher maximizes the positive benefits that naturally come along with any self-fulfilling prophecy; with dedication, perseverance, and hard work, her students will rise to the occasion. As a teacher l always want to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the classroom each day. I believe that I owe it to my students, as well as the community, to bring consistency, diligence, and warmth to the job in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in the children as well.I believe that teaching is a lifetime commitment. It affects ones personal life, personal choices, and personal decisions. It is the shining star that tells us where we want to go. It is the reason for ones existence. Teaching is a passion. It shapes one's future. It directs our daily activities. Teaching inspires us to influence people. Teaching is also a way of life. It is an avenue for living spiritually peaceful with others. I always believe that the child's mind is delicate. Nurturing his young mind with freedom and thirst for knowledge develops into a more independent, more scientific, and dynamic as he deals with realistic problems. As a teacher, I should maintain a democratic classroom which is venue for authentic learning and problem-solving. At the end of the day, I should reflect on what had been done during the day and what things I should improve for tomorrow. Modelling from Christ, my strongest belief is that a great teacher creates happy and thinking students who in turn will become the constructive civil society of the world.
