I am American and my husband is from Peruand. We hope to return there in the next few years where I would love to teach English, especially to children.
Languages fascinate me and if I were rich, I spend as much time as possible studying the history of languages at the University.

Good luck with the rest of your course.
HI Thank you so much for the tips and advice. I will print out the PDF's. The checkpoints are scary. Did you pass them first time round. I have just set off my checkpoint one for marking fingers cross i pass it first time.
I'm finding the writting notes is taking up most of my time. The quzzies i can do in 10mins. The first checkpoint took me a few hours.
If you have any other tips that would help please send them my way :-)
Kind Regards
Melinda

I am currently taking the 120-hour TEFL course. So far have completed the 60-hour TEFL and 20-hour Grammar modules. Now working on the special sections.
I am hoping to be able to combine a trip to Peru to see my husband's family in 2011 with a week volunteering in Arequipa. I have experience working with young children teaching Sunday School and Scouting.
Welcome to Chalkboard!
That's great you're thinking of teaching to children! Have you thought about doing a TEFL course?
