I've been teaching now since October 09 and I really hadn't thought that 'I' would be the problem, NOT the students!!  I have found that my learning curve has been so steep I've found it hard to climb the mountain of 'self doubt' and lack of confidence I had built for myself.  Normally I'm really confident and feel capable but out of my comfort zone and with expectations of myself too high, I have felt almost incapable of doing the job......   It's got better.   Time and plodding on, regardless of this self doubting etc has gradually eased.  Ignoring that little demon on my shoulder saying 'You can't do this, you're rubbish' telling it to **** off!! was the only way. 

So through the tears of frustration at not knowing HOW to do my lesson plans, having done them loads of times on the course - it just aint the same in real life when you know people are going to expect you to know what you're talking about AND make the lesson FUN.

I'm getting there.  Each week brings new learning, restores confidence and the knowledge that I AM good at this and I WONT be beaten.

Glad to hear you've nearly finished! Yeh mine has taken a lot longer than it should have done! haha but it'll feel so good when you finish :)

Hi .....nearly finished the WHOLE course!!!! It's taken ages, coz I've been doing loads of other things like, work, having fun, taking the dog for a walk, singing, attempting to do Wii fit and still being UNfit, learning to play the ukulele NOT, coz it 'urts.... and so on.  I haven't even made time to 'twitter'.
