slowly but surely

Ok, grammar modules completed (thought it best to do all of that before returning back to the main part of the course and give me more understanding). Slight brain meltdown problem (from spending too much time on the laptop). advice

Not for myself, my course is well underway (although I'm dreaming verbs in my sleep!). My friend wishes to come with me on my journey to who knows where but hasn't got a degree. She is going to undertake a TEFL but is concerned a lack of degree may be a huge block.   Any advice out there? Will she be able to get a job or are there only few countries open to her?

Hey

I would definitely recomment TEFL. I throughly enjoyed the course, and cannot wait to go and teach in Germany. I love travelling and can't see me staying in one place for too long ;) I'm going to the 20 hour course in Birmginham tomorrow, and once I've come back I'll be applying for jobs. It's never too late to start a course.

Thanks for the friends request, great to meet you.

Jo

Hi there,
Welcome to Chalkboard :-)

Teaching English as a foreign language is a brilliant way to immerse yourself in another culture. Is there anywhere in particular you're hoping to teach?

Great to see you've joined some of our groups.
Let me know if there is anything I can help with at all!

Take care,

Erin
