Needles...

Just had first 2 of my immunisations (Heb A&B part 1 and Typhoid) with the rest coming over the next month I guess... fun fun fun!

I've been away from the site for the last few weeks due to... laziness I suppose. For some reason as soon as I finished work and moved back to Shrewsbury I've found it very hard to be motivated to do anything at all but today decided that has to stop and time to get stuck into things!

Time Left: 77 Days!
Good news is I got my acceptance e-mail last week so least that is out of the way!

TEFL
I would like to say this is going well but honestly it isn't. I've been staring at it on and off all week but just can't find the words to piece together what I want to say. Been making notes randomly and hopefully over the next couple of days will put them all together and just get on with it! Heres hoping anyway!

Mandarin
As I haven't attempted anything these last couple of weeks the small amount I had got my head around has disappeared so back at stage one. The main problem I'm having is getting the base structure and sounds of a language figured out, if I get my head around that I'm sure I will be fine.

Russian
Still non-existent.

Japanese
The one language I don't need on this next outing but the one I'm still spending time on. I enjoy it, understand the theory and find it much easier to work with! Going well ish!

Now onto the fun stuff...

Vodka & Chopsticks
Well I don't think I can handle anymore drinking at the moment, I've really suffered since being back with friends but on the plus side my chopstick skills are pretty sorted, I'm just having problems with hand cramping if using for extended amounts of time.

Travel Plans
Trains from Shrewsbury > London > Paris > Munich > Budapest have been booked. Leaving 1st July.

Exit Festival tickets have been purchased (5th - 14th July)

Some worry about visa's as they said in the acceptance e-mail that the letter of invitation won't be sent out until 4 weeks before the internship starts and I'll be in Russia then. Have e-mailed TTC to find out if I can either get a letter in June or get something sorted on route.

Think that's about it! It looks like the amount of people who have signed up for the intership has risen a lot in the last couple of months so hello to all the new recruits and I look forward to meeting you come August!
