Hiya, I'm Leanne, 28 from near Liverpool.  I'm signed up to the October Thailand Internship and can't wait! Just waiting for the application to be confirmed and then I'll start dancing! I'm currently a freelance stage manager and have been touring the UK for the last 5 years or so with various musicals such as The Rocky Horror Show and West Side Story.  I've done a bit of backpacking including spending some time in Thailand and just cant wait to get back there! I'd love to hear from pretty much anyone, especially those also going on the thailand internship! Any advice or just a random hello would be lovely!

Just wondering what the accomodation has been like for you guys? Like do you have western toilets, is their a fridge/cooking facilities/decent shower/decent bed blah blah blah! Wondered if anyone had any pictures?

I was just an exchange student in Taiwan and while there I volunteered to talk to different schools and classes about my country in Chinese. It was a lot of fun and I must admit that thisd is where my fascination grew with teaching my native toungue. I have yet to take any TESL courses unfortunately. My current school does not have my major so I am planning on transferring soon to a 4 year University though I have also been looking at i-to-i cources.


How was backpacking though all of those countrires? Did it cost a lot and how long were you out there for? I am highly interested in your trip. ^^ Thank you.

I have had no time to do anything so am getting a little panicked. have you finished the course and have you booked flights. have you sorted your visa?


PLan on bashing out the course in the next couple of weeks and book my flights this week

How about one day next week - is Wednesday or Thursday ok? I was going to suggest tomorrow but I havent been able to get on Chalkboard for a few days, and I know tomorrow is a bit short notice!


Have you booked your flights yet by the way? Im a bit confused with dates and everything - I know our induction starts on the 23rd, and you have to add on an extra day for flying so im thinking the 21st would be best? X

Hi!!


Yeah, its getting very close!! I'm still doing my video practice course, have 22 days to get it done!! I have booked my flights for the 21st October. I'm a little worried about sorting all this visa stuff out, its all quite confusing.. do I have to go to Hull and if so do I have to go back after a few days to pick up the documentation??  Its a long journey to make!! Plus I may get up there and fond I don't have all the relevant paper work!! Oh dear.. getting a little stressed now!! lol! How are you getting on all sorted?? xxx
