I'm Lauren, I'm from Australia and have nearly finished the 140 hour course! I'm doing this with my fiancee and we're looking to go work in Czech Republic or Ecuador as we both don't have degrees to work in most offering asian countries. If you work in these countries of have any tips for us first timers, please feel free to contact me! :)

I've just joined the site!
It seems like my husband and I are in a similar boat to you and your fiancee.
I don't have a degree, but my husband does and we are keen to do the tefl course and work in Western Europe, although I know that not there are places that I am unable to teach because I have no degree.
I was wondering how practical and helpful the course was?
Also, how are you finding work in the Czech Republic?
Thanks heaps,
Feel free to direct me if you have already posted all this somewhere!

I'm not sure if you've been to both countries but I definitely prefer Japan! The culture is just more unique. I haven't been to Thailand but I've heard nothing but good things from friends that have been.
