Psst, there’s still time to join them! The application deadline for the internship is 27th May so you could be jetting out to China with them. Find out what it’s all about by downloading your free China internship guide:

Annah Estelle, a sales person in the menswear section at a clothing shop was initially attracted to China as a degree was not needed to teach there. But since reading up on China she realized what an amazing and diverse place it is. Annah didn’t feel confident enough to move abroad on her own so the internship was the perfect program for her!

“The biggest thing I'm looking forward to is....um.... haha there is so many things! I would have to say going to China. Getting to explore and live in the country, I really can't wait for the experience. I am a little nervous about the teaching I guess as I don't know what to prepare myself for. Its only about 3 months to go!(been counting :P) I'm both excited and scared but it really can't come sooner! I can't say I've done anything like this before so it’s big for me, big in a good way"
Gabrielle Cameron, a student who is in the final weeks of completing her law degree was attracted to China due to its culture, the architecture, lifestyle, food, and history. She was interested in the internship for the training and support and the fact you will be placed with others in the same boat.

“I'm excited about everything at the moment. Mainly - the people, culture, food, shopping, and exploring! The teaching experience, getting to know what teaching methods work for whoever I'm teaching. And having a strong sense of support. “
“I’m very excited, I can't wait! I've met quite a few others online who I'll see over there, which makes it even more exciting. Just wish I could fast forward the next few months!”
Lindsay Grant graduated in 2008 with a Business Studies and Psychology degree. Since then she has been working in local government. As she has never taught abroad the support on the China Internship appealed to her.
“I want to have a great time, lots of fun and to enjoy teaching whilst getting to know lots of people from all over the world.. I hope the skills and knowledge I learn in China will benefit me whatever I choose to do in the future whether it be continue teaching abroad or when I return home and find a new career. “
“I am looking forward to being in a completely different culture, trying new foods, learning a new language, meeting new people and seeing places I never thought I would! I am really excited about heading to China, I can’t wait to finish work – these weeks are dragging now! “
Daniel Loughlin, a student of Psychology at Huddersfield University has never been to China before and the internship was the best way for him to start out. He hopes to get an understanding of Chinese culture, new friends, a good level of teaching ability, added confidence, and do a spot of travelling too!

“I’m looking forward to learning about the food, culture, people and places and overcoming nerves in the classroom, and hopefully becoming a good, well liked teacher. I’m excited most definitely, especially as I may be sneaking a couple of other destinations on the way there. Hoping to meet up with my cousin in Singapore who is taking part in a triathlon there and then off to Thailand for a couple of weeks before heading to Beijing. Perfect little bit of rest after a hectic few months, dealing with University work, managing finances and still keeping up many activities has been hard work!”
Katie Frisby is working full time as a Sales Representative. She is also the lead singer in a band. Katie decided to sign up for the i-to-i China internship as it is her first time out of the country on her own. The internship would be the best and safest way to teach abroad with the extra support.
“China has beautiful temples, gardens, landscape, oceans, festivals and so on and so on. Everything about China's culture fascinates me and intrigues me to learn more. I love how you can go from the simple market lifestyle to a fast past atmosphere almost similar to New York”
“I cannot think of a better internship to get your foot in the door. I hope to gain friendships with the other instructors and students. I am very, very excited. I think it is all I have been talking about with everyone I know! I would head over there tomorrow if I could. I cannot begin to tell you how long I have wanted to do this. And I am happy there is a program like this that helps you along the way”
Clare Young was attracted to the China and liked the idea of the two-week orientation and the support on the internship.
“I am looking forward to the teaching aspect the most. I am also looking forward to meeting lots of new people and doing something that I wouldn't have the courage to do without the internship. I feel excited, scared, and hopeful”
Sophie Lions is working in a university as an Administrative Support Assistant. Sophie is looking forward to the people, sites and food! She cannot wait to get out there.
“Who wouldn't want to go to China!? I've always wanted to go and this was a perfect opportunity to see parts of China that normal tourists won't see and I get paid as well! It's an awesome combination!!”
Martin Sackett who is self employed in the UK. He wanted to teach English abroad as it would allow him to become part of that community and culture. China has always been a place of interest for him and the internship will be a good way of breaking himself in for his first time teaching.

“I'm looking forward to the satisfaction of seeing kids being able to do something they could not do before, because of my new learnt skills. I'm also looking forward to the whole experience of China, food, people their way of life etc“
Erin Mooney, a student in Virginia was attracted to China due to her economics studies; she’s keen to see the developments in China’s economy first hand.

“I randomly received an e-mail about the TEFL program and it seemed like some kind of divine intervention that I simply couldn't ignore. After nail-biting and pondering for a few days, I threw my hands up and said, "Let's do this! Carpe diem!" So, here I am. I decided on the China Internship because it's a truly great opportunity-- simple as that. As a college student, desperate to see the world and unsure of how to accomplish travels without selling a kidney on the black market, this is the ultimate opportunity!“
“The most dominant emotion I feel is sheer excitement! I'm absolutely thrilled to know that I will be living in another country in just a few short months! This will be the experience of a lifetime! I can't wait to get started!”
