HOT showers!

Hot showers!  We have them now. We love them. It's heaven. Enough said.

Had a pretty good weekend. It was sunny. Awesome. Warming up and it's lovely. Got to see some other parts of the city and make some new foreign friends (yay!)

My awesome Guatemalan neighbor let me borrow his portable heater.  I carry it around the apartment with me like a favorite toy. This is really living!

My Korean students and I actually had some fun today.  I think games will be my best way to get through to them. (Well, the four of them that pay attention, anyway)

Four huge energy-intense Grade 5 classes this afternoon, but after that mom and I are making BLTs for dinner!  Woot!

And to the other China interns: I really hope everyone else is settling into their placements alright.  Things seem to be looking up for me finally so I'd be happy to share the love with those who still need some comfort. If anyone needs a friend to chat with, I'd be happy to be that friend!
