Weekend TEFL

Really got a lot out of the two days of practice and recapping in Dublin recently. Was a bit miffed at first that the Belfast weekend had to be cancelled, but it led to taking part in a group of 20 and meeting some fine folks from all over Ireland. The course was a real summary of the online content and also took it further, putting some really useful flesh and bones onto the theory...

Using Time Well

Good to have an incentive to motivate oneself through the course. (Blame the 3rd person on all these royal festivities of late). But look at those number of days left on your course up in the top right corner! It's reassuring to know you can purchase an extension if required, but knowing that there's a deadline to stick to sure reminds you that time-management and a marathon approach to these courses is the way to...

On the Brink

So a journey may well begin! On the verge of doing a 180 and tapping into skills that have been used in different ways all this time... why not gather them all together and use them in harmony? :) Seeing as I love travel, broadening my horizons, exploring beautiful places and playing with/learning about languages it only seems natural to become non-stick and get my TEFL on ;)   Other newbies and potential Thai interns...
