About Me
The CV tends to hide more than it reveals, but for what it's worth - I am a former pharmacist and philosophy student. I've enjoyed learning Italian recently and developed an admiration for good language teachers: that together with my fondness for travelling, voluntary work, arts, culture, history and photography make a TEFL adventure very appealing!
Currently trying to join the Irish TEFL-ers together so they can share tips n encouragement... hence your friendship request and an invitation to join the Irish TEFL Community group - if you're interested :)

Really got a lot out of the two days of practice and recapping in Dublin recently. Was a bit miffed at first that the Belfast weekend had to be cancelled, but it led to taking part in a group of 20 and meeting some fine folks from all over Ireland. The course was a real summary of the online content and also took it further, putting some really useful flesh and bones onto the theory...
Dublin weekend this July?

That's great you're looking into the Thailand internship. The guided experience is definitely an added bonus for your first time teaching! Thailand has won alot of peoples hearts, so I'm sure it will be after yours too!
I haven't yet no, I've just finished uni so I'm working for a while then hoping to head overseas! I don't think it will be long until the travel bug comes to get me....

I'm looking into the Teach in Thailand internship for October cos I'd love some guided experience from the start. Long term I like the look of S Korea and Japan, but if Thailand wins my heart it might be hard to leave :) Have you studied TEFL already / worked urself?
