That's great you've already got your TESOL certificate. Unfortunately Indonesia requires a degree for you to be able to obtain a work visa to teach there. All is not lost though, you can work in Ecuador or China without having a degree. You may want to take a look at this article- http://www.onlinetefl.com/tefl-chalkboard/travel-guides/135-Do-I-Need-a-Degree-to-TEFL-
Hope this helps you!

Hi, if you`re thinking of working for CHC then the best thing is to have a 120 hr TEFL course although there are some techers who have lots of experience and no course, but you need one or the other. When I applied I had to send a lesson plan and then I talked to someone on skype. As for visa requirements, they always change but the school will help you with that if you promise to stay for a year (Ithink). Best thing is to email gloria@canadianhousecenter.com. Cost of living is low in most ways, and the new contract gives us $400 a month plus extra hours where you can get them. This is normally good, just been a little problem with the change over from 2 weekly pay to monthly, as you can imagine. The average wage in Ecuador is $150 a month, but people who earn that must be living in total poverty (a lot do). If you want to do alot of travelling it`s best to bring some savings.
