step by step: I am definitely going!

Well, today I went to a notary public to notarize my Police clearance check and my TESL certificate. Then I figured I'd go to the Flight Centre to see about flights. I'd checked stuff online, but my mother had suggested going to the travel agency because they often know about airlines that no one else has heard of. Well, anyway, I got return tickets for my son and me- we will fly American Airlines from Toronto to Miami. Wait a few hours in Miami and then get a flight with Lan Ecuador to Quito. The one-way tickets would have cost only 200  dollars less, so I figured it was worth it not to take the risk of them not letting us board and I sprung for the return tickets. Unless I really hate it there and really do come back after three months, I'll just have to waste the return tickets. Oh, well, not the first time- I did that last year in Mexico, too.

So, anyway, it's official! I am really, truly going to Ecuador!
