Nihao Beijing!

I've just recieved my official invitation letter to China :) next stop the chinese embassy in london and then hopefully if all goes well in just 1 month ill be leaving the UK for 12-18months, my first stop is Beijing on the 23rd of August for orientation & to begin my China Internship with ItoI and TTC, still dont know where im going to be placed so im trying not to get my hopes up to much about being anywhere in particular - in fact i quite like the anticipation of not knowing it makes it an even more exciting adventure! Im so excited about starting in China but I'm absoultely terrified about starting to teach as this will be the first time for me and im embarking on this adventure solo, but i know there are many of us in the same situation!

Ill be finishing the internship on 15th January next year (the day before my Birthday) and Ive already booked an onward flight to Hanoi in Vietnam where ill spend about a week before going on a tour through Laos and Northern Thailand ending in Bangkok where my mum is flying to meet me for a 2 week holiday in southern thailand around Krabi and the Phi Phi islands and then ill be flying to Sydney where i have got a 12 month working visa!

I still cant quite believe its all happening and that my dreams of travelling are finally coming round, fingers crossed ill get the visa and then teaching in china here i come!
